WebTablet IE Plugin

WebTablet IE Plugin is an official browser add-on from Wacom Technology Corp. that extends Internet Explorer to recognize advanced pen input from Wacom tablets. It enables compatible web pages to access pen data—such as pressure and pen buttons—so sites can provide smooth inking, drawing, handwriting, and electronic signature experiences directly in the browser. Installed alongside Wacom tablet drivers, the plugin uses an ActiveX component and loads only when a page requests it.

This plugin is not required for general tablet use or for modern browsers. If you do not use Internet Explorer or web apps that rely on this functionality, it can be safely removed without affecting desktop applications. Because Internet Explorer and legacy browser plugins are now deprecated, WebTablet IE Plugin mainly serves older systems and specialized enterprise web applications.
